A relative of Rhaphidophora tetrasperma, this is another plant with a resemblance to Monstera and has been relabelled under multiple genera since it was first discovered.  It has asymmetrical leaves, often forming fenestrations more significantly on one side. 

Indoor Care

Bright, indirect or diffused light. No direct sun. 

Water enough to maintain even moisture. Do not allow to dry, or to be soaking wet. This means a very well-draining mix with a lot of coco chips or bark.

Keep humidity medium to high.

Pro tip: Use a well-rounded fertilizer with micronutrients, and give it something to climb. 


    • Orders are shipped Mondays to avoid weekend delays.

    • *Cold weather advisory: your order will go out as scheduled if the overnight low temperature is above five degrees. Orders placed for locations with temperatures below five degrees will not ship until temperatures allow.

    • We ship in secure, reinforced boxes to prevent movement and damage. Foliage is wrapped carefully in kraft paper and medium is secured firmly with tissue. 

    • During the colder months we add long-lasting heat packs to provide protection from the cold.

    • To ensure safe delivery, please ensure your mailing details are accurate and up-to-date. All orders are shipped with signature required upon receipt. In the event you are not home to receive your order it will be moved to your local Canada Post location for safekeeping. Canada Post will leave information about where and when to pick up your item. 

    • International orders (when applicable) are subject to bare root shipping as per phytosanitary regulations.
