This is a strap leaf Anthurium that has been collected in Brazil, Colombia, Eduador and Peru. Strap leaf plants are much longer than they are wide, dangling down from where their roots are attached. Anthurium vittarifolium is an epiphyte that grows attached to trees, high up in their canopy. This can be replicated indoors by hanging the planter, or mounting the plant.
Bright, indirect or diffused light is best, but will tolerate medium light. No direct sun.
Water to maintain even moisture. Requires very well-draining, water retentive mix.
Keep humidity medium to high.
Pro Tip: Will grow in-pot, but when leaves get larger, will need to be in a hanging planter
