Anthurium radicans x dressleri
This product is sold out
Anthurium radicans is one of the smallest creeping Anthurium with both cordate (heart shaped) and bullate (quilted/blistered) leaves. It has been used extensively in the hobby as a plant parent to make new hybrids.
This cross with Anthurium dressleri grows much bigger and exchanges the velvet leaves of the A. dressleri for the stunning quilted leaves of the A. radicans. New leaves grow in with a vibrant red hue and change to green as the leaf hardens.
Bright, indirect light.
Water when top inch approaches dryness. Do not ever allow to dry completely. Prefers even moisture.
Keep humidity high.
Pro tip: We have found that this hybrid does not mind having a cozy pot fitted to its roots (most Anthuriums prefer a lot of space for loose roots). This likely comes from the radicans half of the cross which is a creeper and not really a climber.
